Kangaroo Island inspired

This one is something special. This knife takes inspiration from the Kangaroo Island bushfires.

The handle is a salvaged root ball from the edge of a Kangaroo Island salt lake. The steel represents the charred landscape, the timber represents the beauty within the trees and the green highlights represent the regrowth flourishing over the whole island.

Damascus steel made from 15N20 & 1084 high carbon steel at 61 rockwell. Stabilised burl handle. Green resin. Green/black G10 bolster with copper highlight.
